Seamless Summer meal program consolidates to 10 sites beginning July 20

Beginning Monday, July 20, Community Consolidated School District 21 will consolidate its Seamless Summer meal program from 15 locations to 10. The adjustment will help better manage participant flow, maximize staff resources and continue providing high-quality service to families throughout the remainder of the program.

Meal service will no longer be available at the following locations:

• Chamber Park
• Tarkington Elementary School
• Whippletree Playground
• Whitman Elementary School
• Windsor Ridge Park

All remaining Seamless Summer meal sites will continue operating on their regular schedules through Friday, Aug. 7. Free, nutritious meals are available to all children ages 18 and younger. Please note that children must be present to receive a free Seamless Summer meal.

District 21 appreciates the community’s understanding and looks forward to continuing to serve families at its remaining meal sites.
